8Quadriceps Contraction
Quadriceps contraction is a low-stress exercise. It can be a great starting exercise to strengthen your muscles after a femur fracture. Start with lying on a flat ground and put a towel under your affected limb. Push your knee in a downward movement to the towel to tighten the quadriceps or front thigh muscles. Stay in the position for 5 seconds. To check whether your muscles are properly tightened, you can put your pointer and middle finger on your inner quadriceps. Do around 10 to 15 reps.
