7Keep hydrated
In addition to strain and over-exertion, leg pain could also be triggered by dehydration due to excessive sweating or lack of water consumption. Therefore, if you experience pain on warm days with moderate to severe thirst, mild headache, dry lips or mouth, then make sure to take in water immediately. Ideally, you should drink at least 2 liters glasses of water per day, more if it is humid and hot outside or when you are active. Consider drinking veggie or fruit juices like cucumber, tomato, lemonade, or orange to regain electrolytes and mineral salts and help your muscles contract normally. [7]
