Most people who have Williams syndrome tend to experience mild to serious developmental problems, which often involve cognitive issues and learning disabilities. Some important milestones such as toilet training, talking, and walking can be achieved relatively later in life. During mid-childhood, a common symptom is distractibility, which would improve with age. In addition, they often have trouble with fine motor skills and spatial relations. While there are several intellectual areas like social skills, long-term memory, and speech show considerable strengths, other areas can have noticeable weaknesses. [7]
