There are many treatment options for soft tissue and bone sarcoma, depending on the stages, sizes of the tumor, and your health condition. Surgery is often the most common choice. The main goal is to get rid of cancerous cells and the surrounding areas. Before or after this procedure, your doctor would suggest radiation therapy to reduce the size of the tumor. Another effective treatment is chemotherapy, which uses different chemicals to kill cancerous cells, especially after surgery.
