– Hyperthermia thermotherapy: Apply deep-tissue heating and a cooling device to reduce pain
– Polidocanol injection: Break up new blood vessels around the tendon to reduce pain
– Ultrasound-guided injections: The mechanism is quite similar to that of polidocanol injections
– Ultrasound-guided dry needling: Create small holes inside the tendon, which has been shown to speed up healing and alleviate pain [10]
