8When to Visit a Doctor
It is important to visit a doctor when your children with caudal regression syndrome experience the following problems:
– The surgical site is not healing, leaks pus or fluid, or swells
– They do not have any bowel movements despite a normal eating habit
– They are not able to reach developmental or growth milestones for their according age
– They have discomfort or pain when using the bathroom
– They experience irregular heartbeats, difficulty breathing, or other severe symptoms
Medical attention is needed in these circumstances to prevent further complications of caudal regression syndrome. [8]
