2Dehydration
Dehydration may be a possible cause of nausea in the morning. This happens when people do not drink enough water for a long period. Those who consume caffeinated beverages or alcohol immediately before sleep would be prone to morning dehydration. Vomiting and diarrhea may lead to dehydration as well, particularly in children. Another possible reason is excessive sweating. In addition to nausea, other symptoms may include dark urine, sunken eyes, dry skin, dizziness, lightheadedness, and fatigue. In these cases, drink more water or electrolyte beverages.[2]
