11Panic Attacks
Individuals suffering from hyperthyroidism may expose some signs of a panic attack that results in intense fear which is followed by palpitations, shaking, excessive sweating, numbness, shortness of breath and sometimes have that disturbing sense that something terrible might happen to them. The condition may last for some time depending on different individuals from 2 to 30 minutes where some might stay in the state for hours. Where the condition is severe, the patients might expose signs of post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, drug use disorder and many more which may be a result of hyperthyroidism which requires medical attention.
