2Frozen Shoulder
The frozen shoulder which is also known as adhesive capsulitis is one of the significant causes of shoulder pain. This problem is made known by stiffness and pain in the shoulder. It is usually as a result of the unused nature of the shoulder. The decrease in the range of motion, pain and stiff joints are experienced by people in this condition. The pain caused by a frozen shoulder makes it very difficult to carry out the full range of regular shoulder movements. This can also occur when there is thickening swelling and tightening of the flexible tissue that surrounds your shoulder joint. The upper arm bone is left less space in the shoulder joint, and this makes any movement stiff and painful.
The symptoms are usually felt in three stages which are: the aching stage to a stiff stage and then to the recovery stage. Most people with adhesive capsulitis tend to get better within two years with or without treatment, but not all will regain full range of movement. Improvement is most time gradual. [1]
