6Supraspinatus Tear Test
Supraspinatus is a part of the rotator cuff muscles. Located on the upper area of the shoulder joint, it plays a role in arm raising. First, start with either a standing or a seated position. To do this test, you need to lift your affected arm to the side and forward 30 to 45 degrees. Face down the palm to the ground and push your arm gently. If you cannot keep this arm position due to weakness or pain, then a supraspinatus tear can be a possible cause. [6]
