9Goiter
Goiter is the enlargement of the thyroid gland. Thy thyroid is an organ located in the front part of your neck, which is just above your collarbone and below your Adam’s apple. When this butterfly-shaped gland develops large enough due to Hashimoto’s disease, you can easily feel it just by looking or touching. Most people with this issue do not often have other symptoms. However, serious cases would also show some signs, such as voice hoarseness, wheezing, coughing, and swallowing difficulties, breathing difficulties, as well as tightness or swelling in the neck.
