5Breast Cysts
If you notice a suspicious breast lump that is firm, smooth, and round, it may be a cyst. It is simply a dilated milk duct or sac developing in the breast tissue that is filled with fluids. The problem is common in women from 35 to 50 years old, especially those who almost reach their menopause. A breast cyst would be small or large, and usually become larger or sore before a period, before disappearing or becoming smaller afterward. The mass tends to appear during the night. In most cases, breast cysts are noncancerous and benign. They would be caused by a block in the breast glands. Cysts would feel like a large and smooth blister on the outside or surface of your breast, but the inside is fill with fluid. [8]
