Currently, there is still no cure for leukemia. However, scientists and health experts have been discovered many new technologies and treatments over the last decades to help improve overall outlook in people with the disease. Immunotherapies and targeted therapies are currently being examined to treat certain subtypes of leukemia in early stages. Depending on some different factors, possible treatment options may include antibiotics, stem cell transplant, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy. It may take a few months or years for these treatments to work. [2]
