2Types of Migraines with Aura
Migraines with aura can be divided into three main types:
– Visual aura: This is the most common form. It may cause temporary changes in the vision, such as zigzags or flashing lights
– Dysphasic aura: People with this type may experience language and verbal problems, such as slurred or mumbling speech
– Sensorimotor aura: Motor or sensory disruptions would lead to weakness, numbness, or tingling, which would be followed by a visual aura or not [2]
