Targeted therapy involves the use of drugs that attack and kill particular abnormalities in cancer cells or trigger the immune system to eliminate cancerous growths. There are many drugs for this procedure. Some common options include Sunitinib, Regorafenib, and Imatinib for GI stromal tumors, Trastuzumab for people with too much HER2, and Ramucirumab for advanced stages.
