In electromyography, a small needle is placed in the muscle to assess the function. Nerve conduction velocity is a non-invasive procedure that measures sensory and motor nerve function with electrical shocks. It would be uncomfortable during these tests, particularly for kids. However, they are helpful, safe, and do not trigger any side effects. [4]
