6Contagion of Strep Throat
Unlike a sore throat, a strep throat can be highly contagious. This means the bacteria causing the condition would be spread from people to people through direct contact. Some daily activities, such as kissing or having sex, can make mucus droplets expose to others. Even indirect contact like sharing personal items, such as spoons, razors, towels, can also increase the risk. On the other hand, a sore throat is less contagious and can subside after a few days.
