3Sore Throat

You realize that individuals diagnosed with Polio reported experiencing a sore throat as one of the earliest signs of Polio. A person having a sore throat will experience a scratchy or dry sensation along the throat. One will also experience some pain along the throat where they may experience some difficulties when trying to swallow anything. The soreness starts within some hours after the virus causing Polio attacks the individual. The pain may extend and result in some swelling, and since the virus is highly contagious, medical attention is necessary as soon as possible. [3]
