7Movement of The Clavicle
Another possible symptom of a separated shoulder is the movement of the clavicle bone. This part is responsible for connecting the breastbone to the shoulder. When a separation occurs, the bone tends to be affected and have some movement. Put your hand on the clavicle and push it gently to check whether it remains stationary or moves. In general, it should not move while you are pressing it. This sign is often more common in grade-three cases, which means immediate medical attention is needed to prevent the injury from becoming worse.[7]
