People who already have a salmonella infection would spread the bacteria to other people via the feces. Therefore, those who are suffering from diarrhea should not go to school or office after a short period when the symptom subsets. In addition, it is not advisable to use the same accessories and objects, such as towels, razors, brushes, and more. Otherwise, bacteria can be easily transmitted. Keep in mind to wash your hands thoroughly after contacting a person with some suspicious symptoms. This would eliminate all sources of harmful bacteria and reduce the risk of developing salmonella infection. [10]
