If you are diagnosed with enthesitis, the current treatment plan for psoriatic arthritis should be adjusted. Many doctors tend to prescribe disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs or DMARDs as a first-line treatment option for psoriatic arthritis. However, these medications do not work for enthesitis.
