5Other Symptoms
Symptoms of post-concussion syndrome can vary, depending on the affected brains. After the first few days, vertigo and dizziness can happen, accompanied by vomiting, nausea, lightheadedness, or faintness. More than 90 percent of reported cases experience moderate to severe fatigue as well. This symptom can persist even when other issues have disappeared. In addition to sensitivity to light, noise can also be a problem for some people. Last but not least, sleep issues are not uncommon in people with post-concussion syndrome. These include REM sleep disorders, sleep terrors, sleep walking, narcolepsy, or hypersomnia. [5]
