5Epstein-Barr Virus

In some rare cases, Epstein-Barr virus or EBV can be a trigger of multiple myeloma, especially in those people who have an immunodeficiency caused by organ transplantation, HIV/AIDS, arthritis, or other chronic inflammatory conditions. The WHO classifies EBV-positive multiple myeloma as a type of EBV-related lymphoproliferative disease. Those tissues that are involved in this condition tend to have the look of poorly differentiated plasma cells or quickly developing immature. Since this is a complex and serious condition, it is important to seek immediate medical attention as long as you notice the symptoms. [5]
