10Possible Health Risks of Mom Butt
There have been mixed results on the possible health risks of having a mom butt. Previous studies have suggested that a loss of fat in the thighs, buttocks, and hips, would increase the risk of certain metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. Also, a loss of leg and gluteal fats would increase the number of markers associated with heart problems. In fact, cardiovascular conditions are the only inflammatory disease affected by excess fat. If women gained more than the suggested amount of weight during pregnancy or were already above the moderate range of weight, the risk may hold onto the weight of the babies. In people with gestational diabetes, a mom butt may also increase the risk of type 2 diabetes later. [10]
