5Environmental Conditions
Certain situation factors in the surrounding environment may lead to issues that may mimic symptoms of ADHD. These would include a sudden change in life, a lot of pressure and stress at work or study, the death of a loved one, an unexpected change in the family, financial problems, and more. A neglectful or chaotic home environment, inconsistent parental education, marital or parental conflict, being bullied, as well as abuse or violent experience, are all possible triggers of mental and emotional issues, which would lead to behaviour problems, hyperactivity, restlessness, inattention, trouble concentrating, and other similar symptoms as in ADHD. Depression
It is not uncommon for children with anxiety or depression to show symptoms like those in ADHD. This is mainly because it can be difficult to focus when they are worried or sad. In modern time, these mental issues are more common in adolescents and children. Possible causes may be too much pressure at school or family conflicts. To evaluate and diagnose ADHD, therefore, it is necessary to assess their mental health. [8]
