Uterine Growths

Noncancerous growths or tumors in the uterus would be a cause of menometrorrhagia. This is because they increase the amount of pressure on this body part and the blood vessels around. The most common types include:

– Fibroids: abnormal growths occurring on or in women’s uterus

– Polyps: small and grape-like tumors of the cavity or lining of the uterus

– Endometrial hyperplasia: overgrowth of the uterus’s lining

They tend to be benign and noncancerous. However, medical attention is necessary to prevent possible complications. [2]
