5Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)
Individuals suffering from MCI also indicate early the signs of Alzheimer and are at a higher risk of contracting the illness; thus, MCI is considered as one of the major causes of Alzheimer disease. It is a gradual decline in memory and thinking ability and also to others, and it may expose a higher thinking capacity beyond what is expected at their age. The decline barely affects the person from functioning in work or social environments. Scientists have proven that people with MCI have a higher likelihood of developing Alzheimer’s disease later on in their life. [5]
