The overall outlook for breast cancer may depend on certain factors. These include menopausal status, inherited genetic mutations, HER2 status, stage and tumor grade at diagnosis, overall health and age, how the body responds to treatments, and previous cancer treatments. In general, luminal B breast cancer tends to be a bit more aggressive and grow more quickly than luminal A breast cancer. The mortality rate may be higher in older people and later stages of cancer.
