Bone marrow is the spongy center of the bones. White blood cells are produced in this part of the body. When there are any issues happen to this part, it might reduce the number of your white blood cells and lead to a weakened immune system. You might have bone marrow disorders due to direct exposures to some chemicals, such as pesticides and benzene. Thus, those people who work in chemical plants and similar sites would be at a higher risk of this health issue.
