5Treatments
Mild symptoms of Klinefelter syndrome usually do not need to be treated. For other issues, it is important to start treatment early, preferably during puberty, to prevent further complications. Testosterone replacement therapy is the main option. During puberty, people with this condition will take testosterone as a cream, patch, or pill to stimulate typical male features like penis growth, bone strengthening, increased muscle strength, hair growth, and a deep voice. Some other treatments include physical therapy, language and speech therapy, occupational therapy, educational assistance, behavioral therapy, fertility treatment, and surgery. [5]
