6Voiding Cystourethrogram
A voiding cystourethrogram will take an image of your urethra or bladder during urination or when it is voiding or full. This technique should be performed in an outpatient facility or hospital with the help of an X-ray expert. While anesthesia is generally not necessary, sedation might be used in several cases. A contrast dye can also be injected to highlight the examined areas on the X-ray images. The results would indicate any abnormalities caused by a kidney infection in your bladder or urethra.
