5Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a health issue in which tissue lining the uterus develops outside of this organ. The main cause of this condition is the hormonal change in the menstrual cycle, which makes the area become painful and inflamed. Also, the tissues would thicken, grow, and then break down. Over time, they would be trapped in the pelvis and cause some serious issues, such as irritation, adhesions, scar formation, fertility issues, and severe pain, especially during a period. In mild cases, medications and hormone therapy can be used to remove the endometrial tissues. But in more severe situations, a hysterectomy would be needed to prevent some possible health risks.
