Grow Out of ADHD?

4ADHD in Adults

When people become older, they tend to find that many behaviors linked to ADHD are not as noticeable as before. This may be partly due to the development of coping mechanisms that “hide” these behaviors. The ability to focus, restlessness, as well as impulse control may also improve with age when they learn the structures and rules of various environments. This would help soften the presence of these behaviors. But even when people do not notice symptoms of ADHD, it does not necessarily mean that you grow out of the disease. Scientists have found that ADHD behaviors may actually continue into adulthood. However, more research is needed to learn more about the illness in the brain of adults. [5]
