11Brain Injury
Head trauma or brain injury can be a trigger of frontotemporal dementia. This cause is more common in those people who often do physical activities, such as soldiers, football players, or boxers. When their head or brain is severely injured, some cells and neurons can be changed and cause frontotemporal dementia. The symptoms will be different, depending on the affected regions on the brain. Immediate medical attention is needed in these cases to prevent further complications and reverse some damages, if possible. [11]
