In addition to strengthening exercises, some stretches can help with foot pain. You may target the whole foot or one area, such as the heel or toes. Try the following stretch at home:

– Flex, point, and curl the toes for a few seconds. Repeat 10 times

– Sit down and extend the legs to warm up. Move the toes around, then point them toward and away from the body. Move the ankles in a circle in both directions

– Lift the back and front of the feet off the floor in a standing position to shift the body weight from the heels to the toes. Keep stretching the feet. [2]
