Many studies have suggested that people with fibromyalgia would benefit a lot from working out. Though it can be hard to get motivation, mild or moderate physical exercises would help speed up the healing process and alleviate pain over time. It is better to start with some low-impact activities, such as walking or jogging. You don’t have to push hard as it would make you feel exhausted soon. For older people, try Qigong, Tai Chi, or meditation to get the same benefits. The idea is to make your body move at least 30 minutes per day. [8]
