Other infections might result in inflammatory activities in the long term, thus raising the risk. HIV is a deadly infection that might suppress your immune system and make it harder to protect your body against the growth of cancerous cells. Similarly, HPV or human papillomavirus can be a major risk factor for Ewing sarcoma and other forms of cancer, such as vaginal, vulvar, anal, and cervical. [11]
