6Staring
When it comes to a seizure, many of us often think about the image of a convulsing or staring person. This means that he or she would become partially or completely unconscious with a blank stare. The whole period tends to last anywhere from several seconds to several minutes. It indicates that some brain cells or neurons are affected by changes in the electrical activities. These people might blink or not, depending on the intensity of the damage. This can be usually, but not always, followed by a loss of awareness. A blank stare often occurs in people with absence seizures, which are more common in kids. Fortunately, this type does not lead to long-term complications with proper treatments. [6]
