14Stay Hydrated
As said earlier, dehydration might be a cause of dizziness because it decreases your blood volume as well as the supply of oxygen to the brain. Thus, stay hydrated can be an effective way to prevent this condition. Ideally, you should take in at least 2 to 3 liters of liquids per day to ensure the normal operation of the body. While all types of liquids could be included, water is always the best option because it doesn’t contain caffeine or calories. Make sure to stay away from teas, coffees, and sodas because these are diuretic beverages, meaning that they can cause dehydration instead of providing water for your body. Try to drink more water during intense exercises or after an illness which causes your body to lose lots of fluid such as fever, diarrhea, or vomiting. [14]
