10Influenza
Influenza or flu is a viral infection that affects the respiratory system, including the lungs, throat, and nose. In most cases, symptoms tend to resolve on their own, especially when people have strong immune systems. But sometimes, it would lead to some fatal complications. The risk is especially high in those women who are in pregnancy or during the two weeks of their postpartum, as well as people with compromised immune systems or chronic diseases like diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, and asthma. Vaccines might be the most effective way to reduce risk. [10]
