8Coping Strategies
In many cases of dyslexia, patients tend to develop coping strategies in order to compensate for the condition. For instance, they might rely on other people to spell rather than doing it on their own. Similarly, those individuals tend to do everything based on their memory instead of reading. Some other common symptoms might include avoidance of writing and reading or procrastinating on tasks and assignments associated with writing or reading. Those signs would eventually affect their performance at school or the workplace. [8]
