6Oversensitive Temperament
Those people who were born with an oversensitive temperament may be prone to the development of narcissism. On the other hand, hypersensitivity or oversensitivity may be a common sign of the disorder. Scientists believe that kids who are overly sensitive to surrounding stimuli, such as touch, light, and noise, could easily become fearful, nervous, or withdrawn. Though around 20 percent of newborn babies are considered highly reactive, narcissism and other personality disorders only occur in no more than 10 percent of these situations.
