4Poor Diet
A healthy and balanced diet may help lower cholesterol levels, thus reducing blood pressure and lowering the risk of brain aneurysms. Consuming too much sodium, trans and saturated fats, or calories would result in atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, obesity, or high blood pressure. All of these health issues can be major risk factors for brain aneurysms. Fortunately, you can make some diet changes to prevent the condition, such as:
– Reduce your consumption of fast and fried food
– Limit fatty meat cuts, such as beef ribs, T-bone steak, or brisket
– Replace packaged, processed food with whole and fresh products
– Choose fat-free or low-fat dairy rather than full-fat dairy
– Replace white, refine carbs with complex and whole grains
– Limit or avoid sugary drinks [5]
