8Blisters
After around 1 or 2 days of developing the fever, you might notice blisters or red spots on the skin. They tend to start on your back, face, or chest and quickly spread to other parts of the body. You might feel itchy as well. Blisters typically contain the virus that causes chickenpox and can be very contagious. After a couple of days, they would crust over. However, these spots might look quite similar to those of syphilis, impetigo, viral rashes, scabies, or insect bites. Keep in mind not to scratch the blisters to avoid spreading the virus. Old kids and adults often develop more spots than younger children. You might alleviate the symptoms and speed up the healing process by using some topical medications prescribed by your doctor.
