Hypercalcemia is a health condition in which the level of calcium in the blood is higher than usual. It is most common in women who are over 50 years old and would lead to many issues, including pancreatitis. However, keep in mind that while this is a rare cause of pancreatitis, it can be typically severe when it occurs. Hypercalcemia often comes without obvious signs, by the word include nausea, excessive thirst, muscle weakness, heart issues, bone pain, and other problems.
