– Poor nutrition: A deficiency of some minerals and vitamins is associated with depression. Also, a diet high in sugar can lead to typical symptoms.
– Stress: Suffering from too much pressure or stress would affect your mental health. Studies have shown that stress would affect the balance of the serotonin neurotransmitter, which eventually leads to depression.
– Traumatic events: After a loss of a close friend or a loved one, many symptoms of depression would occur. They should subside gradually, but in some cases, these signs would become worse.
