11Medications
Ask your doctors for some medications or drugs that can help the body control your bladder better. Many of them contain special agents which would prevent leakage and control unwanted spasms or contractions of muscles. Bronchodilators like anticholinergics work by stopping several muscles from unexpectedly tightening, thus alleviating involuntary bladder contraction. Some similar options include solifenacin succinate, trospium, darifenacin, tolterodine tartrate, or propantheline. In addition, your doctor might suggest alpha blockers to relax muscles or tricyclic antidepressants to control muscle tissues. Make sure to follow instructions to avoid some possible side effects, such as drowsiness, heartbeat irregularities, blurred vision, and constipation. [11]
