If a pregnant woman takes those drugs regularly before delivery, it would affect the brain of the newborn baby. These effects can be significant in the early stages of pregnancy, specifically during 20 days of conception. A prostaglandin analog called misoprostol would also cause the same complication. That is why pregnant women should consult their healthcare providers carefully before taking.
