10Skin Contact
Contact dermatitis, also known as skin contact allergy, is a form of allergies that occurs when you have direct contact with an allergen. As a result, it leads to inflammation and some other symptoms, such as open sores and localized redness. Some common triggers include detergents and soaps; alkaline and acid substances; adhesives, solvents, and some industrial chemicals; wool and clothing made from wool; cosmetics or perfumes; rubber, topical drugs, nickel, and some metals in jewelry products; as well as sumac, oak, or poison ivy. If you are allergic to these elements, it is important to wear protective gear when working or being exposed to them. [10]
