7Immunoglobulin D Myeloma (IgD)

While IgA and IgG are the most common forms of myeloma, IgE and IgD are the least common. Also known as Immunoglobulin D myeloma, IgD myeloma affects around 1 to 2 percent of all reported cases with the condition. The risk is highest in men who are under 60 years old. It can be hard to differentiate it from other types since IgD tends to trigger the same symptoms and signs. [7]
